The Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Pamantasang ng Ateneo de Davao, or SAMAHAN, is the lone autonomous Student Government of the College Unit of Ateneo de Davao University.

Since 1982

The SAMAHAN remains committed in our collective agenda of creating impactful results, solutions, and initiatives for the greater communities. For 41 long years, the SAMAHAN remains, endures, and actively continues to be at the heart of navigating our ever-changing University with, for, and by our students.

This Year

This year, we venture back to the University life we yearned for so long, and actualize what we collectively envision as the next generation of Blue Knights. Not only do we thrive to achieve our fullest potential, we are also looking forward to working with the entire Ateneo Community to make it all happen. This is SAMAHAN At The Get-go.

WeNavigate

A community that continues to defy with stories of hope and resilience. Punctuated by the pandemic times, our university life was confined to just being there instead of being more. However, despite what was thought to be insurmountable, we challenged the call of time and chose to be a community destined to go further.

For the past years, our SAMAHAN navigated a full circle of putting visions of every Atenean at the center. From there, we took a leap of faith to own the future, calling upon each Atenean to hold those visions more in motion and stride them to the here and now. But this time, as we move forward to reclaim the life we used to own, we envision a community that starts anew, a student body that expands to new directions, and a SAMAHAN that is at the get-go.

We aim to be in our Year of Magis

called to live upon a SAMAHAN that goes all-out in making all things happen we missed in the past. Rooted in our renewed sense of purpose, we aspire to start up once more and invigorate a fullest comeback, to Ateneo and beyond. Now more than ever, upon our return to a more vibrant university life, we strive to be at the get-go to a lot of things and more — one that is anchored to the values we hold close, to the causes we champion, and to the aspirations we nurture, all at once.

As we reignite the ambitions we once shared together, we dream of bringing them to life by leading our actions into limitless opportunities, striving to advance leadership towards people-centered advocacies, and bringing forth concrete actions in building a student government that is adaptive, transformative, and closer to its people, onwards to our real Atenean dream.

This is SAMAHAN in its finest comeback, where our dreams and hopes unfold anew, as we start at the get-go.
